On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu expressed the hope that God would assist him in restoring Nigeria.

He said that the people of Ogun State had voted for him at a critical time, so he came back to thank them.
During a thank-you visit to Oba Sikiru Adetona, the Awujale of Ijebuland, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Tinubu disclosed this.
He said individuals of Ogun State decided in favor of him at a urgent time, subsequently he retuned to say much obliged.
The Awujale also said that Nigerians should be patient because Tinubu will take them to the promised land.
He asked that God will give Tinubu great wellbeing to follow through on his commitments.
He said:
“Tinubu will take us to the promise land and he is on the way. You will take us there in good health.“Your enemies are now your friends, you will always be in the front. We are all happy that you are the president.”
