Lata has made significant changes to her Instagram profile in response to the declaration. She has removed all references to the record and deleted her previous post congratulating Hilda Baci.
Lata's response has sparked a lot of discussion on the internet, especially among Nigerians, who have asked about her previous messages of congratulations to Hilda Baci.
Many rushed to bring up the irregularity in her activities, asking why she would erase her messages of consolation and congrats on the off chance that she didn't really mean them.

The scrutiny of Lata's position regarding Hilda Baci's accomplishment has only grown since she deleted her previous post of congratulations and made no mention of the record.
Tondon completed the same task in 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds in Rewa, India, in 2019. Hild Baci currently holds the record for the longest cooking marathon in the world with 93 hours, 11 minutes. Tondon's time was 93 hours, 11 minutes.
