According to former President Muhammadu Buhari, leading Nigeria is one of life's greatest challenges.

 

In his Eid-el-Kabir message endorsed by his representative, Garba Shehu, the previous Nigerian President said authority involves the participation and backing, everything being equal.

Additionally, Buhari urged Nigerians to support his successor.

In part, the statement was read:

"Leadership is a challenging task that demands the sacrifices and support of the citizens,” he said.

The former president also wished Nigerian Muslims a happy Eid and “to those on pilgrimage, Hajj Mabrur and a safe return home”.
