During Halima's 30th week of pregnancy, a caesarean section was performed to deliver the nonuplets prematurely.

Adama, Oumou, Hawa, Kadidia, Fatouma, Oumar, Elhadji, Bah, and Mohammed VI are the names of the five girls and four boys who were born.

After spending time in Morocco, the children and their mother are said to have returned to Mali, according to the BBC.

Their father mentioned:

They all have distinct personalities. Some people are quiet, while others are louder and cry more frequently. Some people always want to be picked up. It's normal that they're all very different.

The mother was flown to Morocco while she was pregnant, and the Malian government paid for her care.

Abdelkader Arby, the father, has stated that taking care of the children is a lot of work.

He stated;

"It’s a lot of work, but Allah, who gave us this blessing, will help us in their upbringing and care."

Before the nonuplets were born, the parents already had a girl who was three years old.

People all over the world have been paying attention to the birth of the nonuplets, with many expressing amazement at the mother's capacity to carry and deliver nine babies simultaneously.
