At the Stockholm diamond league, Tobi Amusan wins the 100-meter hurdles

Tobi Amusan, a world champion and holder of a world record, won the 100-meter hurdles on Sunday at the 2023 Diamond League athletics series in Stockholm, Sweden, in a time of 12.52 seconds despite the wet track.

The Olympics reported on Monday that Amusan pulled away from Poland's Pia Skrzyszowska to win comfortably.

Ireland's Sarah Lavin ended on a positive note to clock an individual best of 12.73s with Skrzyszowska agreeing to third in 12.78s.

Amusan below said;

“I am excited to be out here competing and it is great to get the win on the back of Lausanne (silver),” .

“The rain stopped but it was still very cold. I am not very happy with where I am but I trust in the process even when it is not necessarily processing right.”
