Big Brother Naija's Chinenyenwa 'Chichi' Desire Okoebor, has sued Josephina 'Phyna' Otabor, in court for supposed criticism of character.
Her reason for this lawsuit lies in proclamations made by Phyna during the new BBN 'Level Up' reunion, which she considered disparaging.
During a warmed contention on the show, Phyna blamed Chichi for purportedly abandoning her 'husband and children' in Benin City, bringing about the demise of one of her kids.
She likewise took to her Snapchat to reaffirm her assertions made on the show and blame Chichi for poisoning her friend in Cyprus before leaving.
Both misleading cases were exposed by the realityTV star and her legal team. Her lawyers set out their terms; mentioning that Phyna withdraw her assertions across social media platforms, distribute her withdrawal in three widely known newspapers, and pay a compensation of ₦100,000,000 in damages.
These charges come from pictures that circled in January 2023. In those photos, Chichi was seen with a man and a toddler, whom individuals thought to be her husband and child.
During the reunion show in June, she denied being married and having children. She explained that the man she was in the image with was her dad's youngest brother and not her husband.
Chichi's lawyers bear witness to that Phyna's claims and slanderous proclamations have had extreme ramifications for the star and have prompted a deficiency of a few support arrangements and organizations for her.
Phyna has not openly answered the lawsuit.
