"We can affirm @JHenderson has completed a transfer to Al-Ettifaq," Liverpool said.

Al-Ettifaq posted: "A leader. A warrior. We're simply excited to have him."
The 33-year-old has settled an arrangement with detailed wages of up to £700,000 seven days.

Liverpool are expected to get an underlying £12 million ($15.5 million) from the Saudi club.

"As his Anfield part currently comes to a nearby, everybody at the club wishes to put on record their thanks and appreciation for all that Jordan accomplished for us during his 12 years as a Red," Liverpool said in a proclamation.

Henderson said his farewells to the club's fans on Wednesday.

"It's difficult to really express these most recent 12 years and it's significantly more diligently to bid farewell," he said in an Instagram post. "I will continuously be a Red. Until the day I kick the bucket.

"Much thanks to you for everything. You won't ever walk alone."

Henderson drove the Reds to their most memorable English league title for quite some time in 2020, a year in the wake of lifting the Champions League.
