Benue State Asset Recovery Committee has recovered so far over forty vehicles belonging to the state government that were hidden in private homes and facilities in the state.
The chairman of the recovery committee, Hinga Biem, who spoke to newsmen at government shortly after recovering some of the vehicles said more are still be recovered in line with due process stating that the vehicles recovered were purchased between 2015 to 2023 during the Governor Samuel Ortom led administration.
According to him, the disappearance government vehicles into private houses, in a way is affecting the smooth take off this present administration even the governor which is he said is not safe.
Meanwhile, the vehicles so far recovered range from Hilus, Cars, Buses, and other utility vehicles.
