Gozzip Center reports that the NLC protest which was held yesterday across the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory incited an emergency meeting between the President and the labour chiefs.

At first, the NLC had noticed that it would just suspend its strike following a demonstration of earnestness on the public authority.

During the protest in Abuja on Wednesday, angry protesters pulled down the doors of the National Assembly in a bid to get sufficiently close to the premises in order to meet with the lawmakers.

The NLC president, Joe Ajaero, following the meeting with President Tinubu said the President had committed a few responsibilities.

The labour centre is expected to brief the public shortly.
