More than 70 student of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Osun State were reportedly arrested by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a 12 PM raid of hostels outside the campus in the early of today November 1.
The antigraft agency is yet to remark on why the student were captured.
Affirming the arrrest, the Students’ Union President, Abass Aderemi, said the union had subtleties of
"Seventy-two (72) students picked up from the hostel with phones and cars taken away.”
