The Department of State Service has been instructed by Abuja-based High Court of the Federal Capital Territory Justice Hamza Muazu to grant Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, access to his family and lawyers.
Godwin Emefiele, an applicant, presented an ex parte motion to the court, and the judge granted the interim order.
The applicant's fundamental rights, which are currently in the DSS's custody, serve as the foundation for the court's decision.
The matter has been put off until June 20, 2023, so that the main lawsuit can start.
