According to police sources, the victim asked the motorcyclist to take her home as she was returning from the market. However, the suspect ran over the woman while commuting and veered into a forest path. The suspect, who thought the victim had fainted, dragged the unconscious victim and dumped her on a riverbank, where she remained until the following day.

According to the police, the victim regained consciousness the following day, but she was too weak to stand up, so she turned to others for assistance. Her family went on a search for her and found her by the river, still unconscious. She was rushed to the hospital, and once she was free, she told the story, which led to the suspect's arrest.

SP, the state police command's spokesperson, Catherine Anene stated that the suspect will be arraigned in court as soon as the investigation is concluded. She confirmed the incident.
