During an interactive session with Nigerians living in France and other European nations, Nigerian President Tinubu broke his silence regarding the CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele, who was suspended.
Tinubu said that the country's financial system under Emefiele was bad.
He stated that numerous Nigerians living abroad were unable to send money to their relatives due to the numerous exchange rates, but that all of that is no longer the case.
The financial system was broken at that time. Only a few people were making money bags out of our money, and then you stopped sending money to our poor parents. A few windows… yet that is gone now, is no more.
"The man is in the hands of the authorities; something is being done about that, and they will sort themselves out," reads the statement.
