An Inspector from the 62 Police Mobile Force (PMF) in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, who is allegedly responsible for the death of a coworker, has been detained by the Nigeria Police Force.
Goldmynetv was unable to determine the identity of the Inspector, whose name was also allegedly taken from the deceased person's rifle and sold it to bandits, or terrorists, for N300,000.
Saturday's video of the alleged killer Inspector in handcuffs and leg chains was shared by a police source, who lamented the unpleasant situation.
Even though the police source was pleased that the killer Inspector was revealed, he demanded greater police accountability.
Some police officers were overheard saying, "this one (referring to the killer Inspector) is the most wicked soul" in a video that lasted one minute and thirty seconds and was viewed by Goldmynetv.
SaharaReporters were unable to immediately determine whether the other suspects with the Inspector in the video were the bandits to whom he allegedly sold the rifle.
The following message is included in the video:
"An Inspector from 62 PMF kafanchan Kaduna killed his colleague, collected his gun and sold it to bandits for 300k. God has exposed him and his gang."
