A top Commander of the Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah cover Da'wah wa'l-Jihād also called Boko Haram, Khaid Malam Ali and his lieutenant, Bunu Umar has surrendered to the soldiers of Operation Hadin Kai in the North East of Borno state.
As per Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency master and security expert in Lake Chad, Ali and his fighters were ousted by the ISWAP terrorists group after they composed a strike at the safe-houses of Boko Haram in Bula Alhaji Garwaye in the fingers of Sambisa Close to Bama LGA on, July 5, 2023.
Zagazola had announced how the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP), killed scores of Boko Haram fighters, including their women and children.
Ali was a Commander of the terrorists in Sabil Huda and Njumia. He set out his arms because of the feeling of dread toward Combat zone end.
