JustIn: Helicopter crashes in Ikeja, Lagos (Videos of how it crashes)

An information has been sent to us that a helicopter has crashed in the Oba Akran area of Ikeja, Lagos State.

Chopper crashes in Lagos State

The Representative for the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), Tunji Oketunbi, affirmed the development to the reporter on Tuesday evening.

Additionally, the correspondent was informed by a representative of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) that the incident took place on Tuesday afternoon.

On its part, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said two people were installed the disastrous copter.

NEMA Zonal Coordinator for South-West, Ibrahim Farinloye, on the Agency’s official WhatsApp platform, said however the personality of the administrator of the helicopter was at this point obscure, the two men were saved alive.

The NSIB and NEMA first responders as well as investigators have arrived at the scene.
